In cooperation with the City of Dresden and the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe/DRK, vaccinations against Covid-19 will be offered directly on the campus of TU Dresden for all members of the university and external interested persons – even without an appointment!
When?November 29 – December 22, from Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 4:30 pm(appointments bookable from November 26, 12 pm)

The C’NANO Conference 2021 will take place in Toulouse from 23 to 25 November 2021 with a MEMO satellite workshop entitled "Single molecule mechanics on a surface: gears, motors and cars". On 23 November 2021, 6pm all the Nanocar Race II teams officially registered will present their first molecule-car prototype to the public. Follow their presentations life via YouTube! Prior to the general presentation, the MEMO project coordinator Dr. Francesca Moresco from cfaed (Single Molecule Machines Group, TU Dresden - cfaed, Germany) will give a talk on “Mechanics with molecules: motors and gears working under the STM tip”.

Die seit 21 Jahren an der Fakultät Physik veranstaltete Experimentalvorlesung für Schülerinnen und Schüler zieht unter Normalbedingungen zwischen 500 und 600 Besucher:innen an!

The new Research Training Group "Supracolloidal Structures: From Materials to Optical and Electronic Components" (GRK 2767) at Technische Universität Dresden aims to train a new generation of experts who will design materials made of supracolloidal structures from the drawing board to application in components. The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding the project with a total volume of around 5 million euros.

In nur zehn Monaten Bauzeit hat die TU Dresden in Eigenregie ein neues, aus 33 vorgefertigten Raumzellen zusammengesetztes Modulgebäude errichtet. Büros und Labore beherbergen auf 1.200 Quadratmetern rund 45 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der in das Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed) eingebundenen Professur für Molekulare Funktionsmaterialien von Xinliang Feng, der auch am Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung und im Sonderforschungsbereich (SFB) "Chemie der synthetischen zweidimensionalen Materialien" forscht, sowie des Exzellenzclusters Complexity and Topology in Quantum Matter (ct.qmat).
