On April 3, 2025, the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1415, in close cooperation with the Graduate School (GRK) 2861, invited a total of 8 female students to participate in Girls' Day 2025. During the workshop "Insights into Chemistry," the students spent an exciting morning in the student laboratory, gaining hands-on experience by conducting simple chemical experiments. Furthermore, the participants learned what the future of chemistry might look like by having the opportunity to program their own LEGO-based chemistry robot.
The workshop was complemented by a lunch with some young female scientists from the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, as well as participants from other Girls' Day workshop offerings. In a relaxed atmosphere, the students had the chance to network and exchange ideas with the young scientists and other interested participants.
