Armin Darjani has joined the chair of processor design at CFAED as a Research Associate from March 2021. He received his B.Sc. in computer hardware engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Hardware Architecture from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2017. His master thesis focused on harnessing the parallelism and processing power of FPGAs for accelerating data analytics carried out by the big data stream processing frameworks such as Apache Storm. His interests include Hardware Accelerators, Reconfigurable Architectures, Hardware Security, and Emerging Nanotechnologies. He is currently working on the “Electronic Design Automation for Designing Secure Circuits” project.
